We are a private Garden Club with a maximum membership of 55 Active members plus numerous Associate members. We exist to create interest in the science and art of gardening and to stimulate the promotion of civic beauty through horticulture and conservation. We do this by attending monthly meetings with expert speakers in the fields of horticulture, garden design, floral arrangement, garden history and conservation. We strive to use our knowledge to create and maintain gardens throughout Wellesley and beyond. Our main civic focus is the ongoing improvement and maintenance of Clock Tower Park in Wellesley Hills. Over many years The Hills Garden Club of Wellesley has provided funds to enable the installation of trees, shrubs, perennials as well as such hardscaping as the brick path and iron fencing. Several times a year club members gather in the park to plant bulbs and provide manual labor to maintain and preserve the park. We are duly proud of our contributions to the ongoing preservation of Clock Tower Park and encourage visitors to visit this National Register of Historic Places site.
